When God puts something in your heart that makes it skip a beat you never know what the outcome will be. All you know is that whatever comes next is going to change your life.

Several months ago I started noticing blogs, shows, pictures, articles, you name it, I started seeing families that were living in their RVs and loving it! I was completely intrigued by it. I did not even know it was thing to do that. It was a world I didn't know existed. I knew about vacationing in them and camping and all that but I had no clue about full timing. I read a little bit about it and was like wow that's cool.

And then I went about my business. Back to house shopping in Kentucky, back to talking to a realtor and planning out my wants and necessities for my big dream house. I saw a few more blogs and families pop up here and there that were full timing and read about them and again thought it was very cool. I mentioned it to Zach and we were like that's cool but not our dream! We are ready to buy a house and settle down and make it our own.

5 weeks ago on a friday night, we picked a random family move off of netflix and you won't believe how the family lived.....on the road...in a RV... at this point Zach and I were like, ok Lord is there something to this? Are you trying to say something and we are missing it? We started praying and fasting. And then we sought wise counsel and then we knew our answer.

We made the decision to, I won't say abandon the idea of a dream home, but maybe just put it on hold for now, we are not really sure. We listened and we know this is the time to say goodbye to our worldly possessions and say hello to God's calling and hit the road. Sometime in the spring we will be moving into our Towanda as a full time RVing family and traveling all over the USA!

We are in the process of downsizing and selling everything, almost everything, at least. This has been hard at times and easy at times. I will be sharing some of those emotions in posts that are yet to come! Either way this is a new adventure for us. One that we never anticipated God to call us on and one that we know without a doubt will lead us closer to Him and to each other!

When God wants to make a mushroom, He takes six hours. When God wants to make an oak tree, He takes 60 years. The question is: Do you want your life to be a mushroom or an oak tree?
